I got involved in the body piercing industry in 2006, although I've been getting piercings and tattoos for many years. I spent a great deal of time researching the various aspects of body piercing on my own, but I served a formal apprenticeship in order to expand my knowledge and hone my skills even further.
I am now the senior piercer at Saint Ssabrina's, having worked here for 6 years. I've been fortunate enough to developea diverse clientelle that allows me to push myself both technically and creatively.
I am a member of the Association of Professional Piercers as well as a returning instructor at their annual educational conference. I feel strongly about trying to educate my clients, and the general public as well as other piercers. I've spent time talking to local high school and university students about the importance of having piercings done cleanly and safely.
In recent years I've become well-known for my ear projects, which combine unique placements and ornate jewelry. I developed a new aesthetic apporach to ear cartilage piercings which have been adopted by many of my colleagues over the past several years.
I was honored to receive the Golden Piercer award from the folks at Body Vision Los Angeles for my innovations in the use of gold body jewelry.
In addition to ear projects, I am proficient in all varieites of facial and body piercings. I feel thatat male genital piercings and surface piercings are two areas where I excel.
